A while ago you kindly signed up for news about social ventures incubator CanDo on our website, teamcando.com.  Today we have several bits of news to share:

1) A Christmas gift for your loved ones
2) An opportunity to test a new mobile phone experience for older people
3) A philanthropy service to help high earners give more

1) An AdminBusters Christmas gift for your loved ones

As you may know, we recently launched AdminBusters: a revolutionary service making PAs available to everyone for just £19/month + 50p/minute.  Our early users are delighted with the service and now we’re launching a special Christmas offer: buy 6 months of AdminBusters (including 2 hours of PA time) for just £49.

If you know someone who is very busy, or just hates doing their life admin, why not buy them the gift of time this Christmas?  Buy the gift at https://www.adminbusters.com/christmas

2) Testers required for a new mobile phone experience for older people

It’s all still under wraps but we’re building software to make smartphones easy to use for older people. It replaces the default phone interface with something much simpler, which other family members configure on the web.

We’ll soon be ready for Alpha testing and would love some testers to give us feedback on the product.  If you would be able to help us (in particular if you have an older family member for whom this might be useful) please let me know and we’ll be in touch.

3) Designing: a philanthropy service to help high earners give more

In our recent research into the philanthropy sector we discovered that people earning over £250,000 per annum in the UK give just £1,000 to charity on average.  We think that’s because it’s not easy to know how to give effectively.  We’re designing a not-for-profit initiative to make it easy for employees of larger companies to identify charities they want to support and donate to them tax efficiently.

If you work for a medium-sized or large company we’d love to get your advice on how this service could be marketed to your employer and colleagues. Please let me know if we can reach out to you about that?

Thank you!
